Here's the full description of the event:
Seattle is now a leader in global health and the fight against poverty. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and many other humanitarian groups are located here. Are these organizations succeeding in making the world a better place?
Join KPLU as we explore this question in a lively discussion with smallpox eradicator Bill Foege, PATH President Chris Elias, health activist Wendy Johnson, and Theo Chocolate's Joe Whinney.
The discussion will be moderated by KPLU Humanosphere journalist Tom Paulson, and is co-presented by CityClub.
