Project

Macroeconomic Literacy Training Resources

Since 2008, we have worked to improve our own understanding of macroeconomic policies and how they affect the health of the poor, and to share our understanding with others advocating for better health.

We hosted a training in June 2008 to explain macroeconomic policy basics and how global health advocates can take action. Featuring experts Rick Rowden, Brook Baker and James Heintz, the training provided a basic understanding of the effect of International Monetary Fund (IMF) policies on health and social sector budgets in low-income countries.

The resources from this training are available for download here. For additional information or to join our listserv on macroeconomic policy news, email us.
