Overview
We measure our success by whether the governments we work with are able to take steps toward a stronger health system. This means more health workers and managers with the skills they need, information and materials getting where they need to be, and more people getting care and staying healthy.
We are proud to highlight some of the results we’ve helped our government partners to achieve:
- More than 170,000 people in Mozambique living with HIV are receiving antiretroviral therapy through the government’s free services
- 82% of Timorese women in districts where we work are having at least one prenatal care visit, up from 50% in 2003
- 96% of pregnant women who were tested for HIV at health facilities where we work in Côte d’Ivoire recieved their test results, up from about 10% in 2007
