Our programs contribute to stronger public-sector health systems. Often, this includes working with ministries of health to improve public-sector information management systems. Our goal is not to run our own programs and collect our own results, but rather to work through the public system and help the government to gather and manage data more effectively.
Most of the data reported here come from ministries of health, and reflect the progress of our partnerships together. Where we have conducted program evaluations beyond the capacity of the ministry of health, we always feed this data back into the public system.
