Mozambique – HIV / AIDS and TB
We began working with the Ministry of Health in 2003 to deliver on their national strategy to provide free antiretroviral therapy to all HIV-positive Mozambicans who need it.

- 170,003 - number of HIV-positive people on antiretroviral therapy (as of Dec 2009)
- 200,340 - number of people tested for HIV*
- 7,885 - number of pregnant women receiving treatment to prevent transmission of HIV to their babies (PMTCT)
- 9.806 - number of infants receiving medication to prevent transmission of HIV from their mothers
- 5,374 - number of children (born to HIV-positive mothers) who were tested and found to be negative for HIV
